She began her musical training with Prof. Mladen Katanić, and in 2000 enrolled in solo voice at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna, in the class of Prof. Franz Donner. She went on to postgraduate studies in opera and drama under Prof. Uwe Theimer, Didier von Orlowsky and Prof. Margit Klaushofer, and in 2006 earned the title of Master of Arts.

During her years in Vienna she performed on the stages of the Volksoper and the Schlosstheater Schönbrunn, and since 2007 she has been a permanent soloist at the Zagreb City Theatre Komedija.

She won the Kor award for the best young artist in Croatia and has taken part in numerous international opera competitions, most notably the Ferruccio Tagliavini competition in Austria. Over her career she has worked with distinguished conductors and composers such as Vjekoslav Šutej, Berislav Šipuš and Uroš Lajovic.

She has performed across Europe, including Slovenia, Austria, Germany, France, Belgium and Italy, as well as in China, and is a frequent guest on Croatian Radiotelevision. She is a member of the Croatian Composers’ Society and the Croatian Musicians’ Union.

Her repertoire spans opera, musicals, pop and sacred music, so she can shape each programme to the occasion and the audience.

In recent years she has turned increasingly to pop, which she presents to an international audience under the name VYAN. She works with the Norwegian production company DSIGN Music and with the American songwriter Jud Friedman, whose many well-known songs include “Run to You”, the hit made famous by Whitney Houston.
